Just called in for a G&T and was pleasantly surprised by the great atmosphere, there was a group of musio's jamming away doing a range of Irish jigs, hopefully next time we can spend more time and try something from the menu.
Fantastic pub hotel with local live music, consistently great food and a great beer selection. Staff are friendly and Adam, the main man is extremely accommodating. Highly recommend a country beer and chill in the beer garden.
As our local, we are lucky to go here all the time and can't complain about anything. It's great.
Nice hotel with a good dining and and beer garden. The food is really good - properly seasoned and tasty. There is room to bring your bike if you ride up the rail trail from Castlemaine.Perhaps the only thing that could be improved is the wait at the bar. It always takes ages to get a beer!
Went there for dinner tonight ordered the burrito which was to have included guacamole inside....although it was tasty enough, the guacamole was non existent and the burrito was stuffed with lettuce (which wasn't mentioned on the menu)...I'm sorry but when did a burrito include lettuce ever? Also heads up...order a side of sour cream cos pretty sure that wasn't in there either.
