Friendly staff well stocked shelves, charming historical buildings
This is my local supermarket. Firstly I do have to say it is cramped at times when busy with narrow aisles, two cashiers and often lots of tourists. But... As a local the staff greet you by name and are wonderfully helpful and friendly. I can buy most items that I need for a family but obviously the range on offer is limited due to its compact physical space. It has great fresh veggies and a well stocked deli and a bottle shop too. It's open until 7.30pm and on more than one occasion I've snuck through the door at 7.29 and have been graciously allowed to grab those few last minute items.No plastic bags. Street parking.
